I recently stayed at this luxurious 4-star hotel and had an absolutely amazing experience. The location of this place is simply breathtaking, nestled in a beautiful valley just a stone's throw away from the Devon coast. The village itself is unspoiled and charming, making it the perfect getaway destination.

In terms of service, there were moments when it seemed a bit slow due to the high demand, but the staff members were always pleasant and helpful despite being under considerable pressure. However, I would still highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in this area.

Lovely stay during Christmas with great food and service. The bathrooms were recently renovated and top-notch. The restaurant served unexpectedly good food. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location had beautiful scenery and a walk to the beach was worth it.

Some noise outside the room, possibly from the kitchen fan. Carpet in the cottage room was difficult to keep clean of dog hair.

Bathroom in our garden room was stuffy.

The complimentary hot chocolate and cookies were a nice touch, and the location was great for hitting up the local attractions. The room was also nicely sized and clean.

The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and made it hard to sleep at night. Additionally, the staff seemed understaffed and overall unfriendly, which put a damper on the holiday spirit.

This charming country inn is located in a quiet picturesque village near a stunning isolated beach with great walks. The spacious rooms have comfortable beds and large, clean bathrooms. The friendly and helpful staff provide excellent service. The delicious breakfast and fabulous food in the on-site restaurant are highlights. The hotel offers free WiFi and ample parking. The view from the room's windows is lovely, and there is a private patio area for relaxation.

The limited choice of food options in the bar and restaurant may not suit everyone's taste.

We had an incredible stay at this hotel. The staff were lovely and the food in the restaurant was great. Our room, number 25, was very nice and we especially loved the sound of the stream from the window. The location was fantastic, adjacent to a pretty beach and away from the crowds. The hotel facilities were excellent and the cleanliness was top notch. The breakfasts were delicious and set us up for the day.

    Nothing, everything was great.
